Can we just talk about Daylight Savings Time for a minute? Phewww what a downer 𤪠this past weekend we had to āspring aheadā which meant we all lost an hour of sleep and now itās dark again the mornings. Pass! The one perk is that my LEO (who works nightshift) got to work one LESS hour Saturday night! I told him that was probably the only time in the history of ever did he get the better deal as a nightshift worker-he got to come home an hour earlier while the rest of us got one less hour of sleep š itās about time our sweet heroes on graves had something go their way!
DST aside weāve had some beautiful weather where we live lately. Weāve been trying to spend as much time outside as possible, and Iāve been using the free version of the 1,000 Hours Outside app to track it and motivate us to log more outside time! You might remember that my ānew yearās resolutionsā last year were to spend 1,000 hours outside, walk/run/job/limp 1,000 miles, and declutter 1,000 things. I tried to track this in the notes app of my phone and it was a total fail! This year I started using the app (thereās a more complex paid version and a super basic free version, which is what Iām using) and itās been such a game changer! Sometimes I forget to start the timer, but overall having that tracker going has motivated us to get outside and stay outside way more.
Anyway-all that to say, spring is NEAR and I couldnāt be more excited! Thin line life seems so much more manageable when fresh air and sunshine is involved. Anyone else agree?! š¤Ŗ
Scroll down for the rest of this monthās newsletter (thereās a promo code, quickie dinner idea, top linked products and posts, and a sneak peek at my latest project!) and if you’re not already subscribed and want these posts to come directly to your inbox you can do so here.

Hereās the top three things that yāall loved the most this past month:
a+g merch. The most purchased and clicked on link this past month has been to my new merch drop šš„° yall! Iāve been so happy that so many of you are loving the new designs. You can go to this post here to hear more about the heart behind each design, whatās offered, fit, etc but the short of it is-I love each one of these designs and Iām SO happy that yall do, too!

Donut pan. Yāall know I love to bake, and like any good police family we love a donut! This donut pan is a super simple way to make fun baked goods at home. Thereās tons of donut recipes out there (both healthy and plain old delicious) but you can also make most muffin recipes in this pan, too! My favorite donuts Iāve made lately are these pumpkin ones and these crumb cake ones.

Clickable markers. These washable, retractable āclick markersā went on sale last week and I shared that theyāre the only marker we have in our house-no more lost caps or dried out markers!-and so many of you said you love them, too! Theyāre all the best of a Crayola marker AND are easy for little hands to use. $10 to save your sanity during coloring time? Sign me up!

Iām so excited about this monthās promo code-itās for my friend Saraās amazing, America loving, Jesus worshipping, thin line supporting small shop American Freedom Company!
Iāve gotten a bunch of things from AFC over the years-my most recent order was this sideways cross necklace and this tumbler! Sara recently began expanding her jewlery collection, and the pieces are stunning and actually affordable! I convinced her to start producing more silver/white gold instead of just yellow gold (since thatās all I wear) and WOW Iām obsessed! I needed a new cross necklace after my old one was looking worse for wear (it was just a cheap Target one) and I love that I could support one of my favorite small shops for just about the same price. Yāall know I love to shop small whenever I can, especially when itās businesses that back the blue and support our thin line families!
Some of my other favorites are my Freedom Isnāt Free pullover, my Land That I Love zip up, and my Boston Tea Party shirt! Theyāre all super soft and amazing quality. Psst-like always, this isnāt sponsored, Iām just sharing a small shop I love supporting!
We can use code AG5 for $5 off any purchase (with no minimum!) now through the end of April.

This monthās āshortcut supperā is inspired by last nightās dinner! Healthy Little Peach has a delicious Big Mac Casserole that is super simple, yummy, and way healthier than a normal burger. With a couple of tweaks and shortcuts you can have a healthier comfort meal on the table in half an hour, with basics you probably have in the pantry and freezer!
Big Mac Bake
-Potatoes (sweet parties, or regular potatoes, or hash browns, or fries)
-Ground beef (or ground turkey or ground chicken)
-Diced onion (could omit if you donāt have any-I use frozen!)
-Shredded cheese (I used Colby Jack)
-Homemade Big Mac sauce or thousand island dressing (or sauce of choice)
-Seasoning (salt, pepper, paprika, ground mustard, garlic powder, onion powder-whatever you have and like)
-Worcestershire sauce (could omit)
-Toppings (shredded lettuce, tomatoes, onion, pickles, relish-whatever you like on your āburgerā)
Preheat your oven to 375°. Cube your potatoes and cook until softened (either in a pan or the air fryer-for a quicker and easier dinner use prepared, prepackaged French fries or tots) then add to the bottom of a 8×8 or similar size dish (assuming you used 1 pound of meat-use a bigger pan if youāre using more). Brown your ground meat and season with whatever sounds good-I use garlic powder, salt and pepper, paprika, and ground mustard-then add some diced onions and cook until translucent. I keep diced onions in the freezer and add those! Add a splash of worcestershire sauce, then mix in your baking dish with your potatoes. Add some burger sauce (I love Healthy Little Peachās recipe for a healthy Big Mac sauce) or thousand island dressing and stir until combined. Top with shredded cheese, then bake for about 20 minutes, or until hot and the cheese is bubbling. Top with whatever sounds good (I do lettuce, relish, tomato, and more sauce) and enjoy! If you littles or pickier eaters, just keep some meat and potatoes separate and serve it ādeconstructedā.

Okay, so remember last monthās newsletter when I shared my latest product, the Thin Line Valentine ebook? Wellā¦Iām now working on ANOTHER project! Iāve had a ānight shift survival guideā digital resource in the works for more than a year now (maybe even two, if weāre being honest) and Iāve just left it in the back burner. Iāve gotten a lot of questions about nightshift lately, so I promised that I would have it up and running in the spring. Well, itās now March, so that means I better get my booty in gear! This is me officially declaring to be be on the lookout for this new project NEXT MONTH š It will be a digital resource available for purchase and instant download just like TLV and The Praying Police Wife and will cover alllll the things nightshift family life. Woohoo!
Happy March, thin line fam! Xoxo
