blue line father’s day printable + gift guide {2026}

Father’s Day is right around the corner-this year it falls on Sunday, June 21st! I share this sweet little printable every year, and it’s the easiest way to show a little love to the blue line dad in your life and capture little handprints! We have a whole row up over my own LEO’s cop caddy, and it’s my favorite thing on the wall.

This printable is easily customizable with your little’s handprint. Just download and print the below PDF (s), mentally prepare yourself for a bit of a mess, paint your kiddo’s hand, and voila! You’ve got a (free!) custom card or piece of artwork that your LEO is sure to cherish. Make sure to use washable, nontoxic paint, and do this project outside with wet wipes nearby for easy clean up. Paint is usually on sale at Hobby Lobby, or you can grab it on Amazon here or here.

There’s a simple handprint version, as well as a version with a space at the bottom for your kiddo to write a note or sign their name, if they’re old enough, as well as a sheriff star version. I also included a “mommy” printable, if that’s what you’re looking for! Scroll to the bottom of this post to download whichever design(s) you’d like to use!

If you need some quick ship gift ideas to go with your cutie handprint art, my Amazon gift guide is here.

If you’re looking for an especially creative gift, I love giving a Shield Box, Medic Box, or challenge coin subscription! They can all be given just one time or as a recurring subscription. My own LEO has loved every single one! Bonus points for it being a first responder run small business.

Another great gift idea is a new pair of sunglasses-especially ones that hold up on the job. Last month Frontline Optics offered to send me a pair of their sunglasses to check out, and I picked out these ones. On second thought I probably should have used this opportunity to order my LEO a Father’s Day gift. Whoops! I love my pair though so I don’t regret it for a second. I’ve been using them for over a month and they’ve even gotten into the hands of my little (IYKYK) and WOW have they held up! I’m eying this pair for my LEO to use at work and for everyday. Not only is Frontline a first responder owned company, but they offer a free replacement if your shades get damaged in the line of duty-no questions asked, you just pay shipping! How cool is that?! We can use code ammoandgrace15 to save on this first responder owned small shop!

If you’ve been around for any length of time then you know that one of my favorite thin line supporting small shops is American Freedom Co. Sara (AFC’s owner) is constantly loving on our first responder and military families-providing support on social media but also in person, feeding our troops and giving care to their families when they’re deployed. All of her items are amazing quality and great designs-we personally own many shirts, sweatshirts, jewelry, and tumblers. We can use code ammoandgrace10 to save!

Another one of my favorite companies to support is SRVS Gear, because they support our thin line families! For every “Buy 1 Give 1” shirt purchased, a shirt is also given to a first responder or military member. So cool! Both my LEO and I have several of their shirts-some are almost five years old and just as soft and vibrant as they were the day we got them. We can use code ammoandgrace to save!

Happy Father’s Day to all of our blue line heroes and to all of the wonderful people who play an important parental role in someone’s life!
