I’m so excited to FINALLY get back to reviewing blue books each month! I used to be diligent about getting them up on a regular basis, and then…life happened, and here we are! I’ll be trying my best to share blue book review here on the blog, but I always share up to date finds and reads on my Instagram under the “blue books” highlight.
This month I’m sharing my friend JJ’s police specific bible study, Armor of God for Police Wives! JJ Gutierrez is a fellow police wife, mom, grandma, and strong woman of God! She’s written several Bible studies, including her newest book that I shared in my newsletter here.
I actually chose to feature Armor of God for Police Wives this month because the armor of God is something we just finished teaching over in kids church! One or two Sundays a month I serve in the elementary room at our church, and this summer we taught the armor of God to our kids. It was a great reminder to me of how powerful God’s word and protection is, and I thought what better way to stay on the AOG train than to share this LEOW specific bible study with y’all!
This book is in a workbook/journal form and features places for you to answer prompts and write in your thoughts. JJ compares the armor of God to our officer’s law enforcement uniform and talks about how we can use each piece in our daily lives.
