2024 blue gift guide: shift gifts {squad gift ideas under $20}

A lot of yall were asking for gift ideas for your LEO’s squad-it can be hard to find affordable presents for the shift! By no means should you/your LEO feel obligated to give gifts-most people don’t! But if you’re looking for a little something to gift to their team (or sergeant, LT, etc) here’s some ideas, all under $20.

ID holder. One of my LEO’s buddies got them something similar last year and he said it was such a good gift! It holds their ID badge and easily clips into a pocket or onto their uniform.

Coffee. Coffee is always a good choice in my book, and especially when it supports our first responders! One year we gifted every guy a pound of this Back the Blue blend.

Morale Patches. One coworker always gifts patches to his guys, and they’re always hilarious! He puts a lot of thought into it and gives each person the perfect patch.

Funny Bottle Opener. If you’re looking for a fun little gift, this “open up” bottle opener always makes me chuckle! We gifted it to my BIL years and years ago.

Personalized Ornament. Christmas ornaments are always fun, especially when they’re personalized! Write their last name in Sharpie on this little guy and call it good!

This ornament is also a fun option-and it’s from a LEOW owned small shop! You can even customize the back.

Custom Pen. This is the perfect little $5 gift-put each LEO’s name and/or badge number on it and call it a day! My LEO is always looking for a pen-maybe if he had one with his name on it it’d stick around a little longer 😅

Cookie Boxes. Every Christmas (and a lot of other holidays too) I bake a bunch of treats to send in to the station with my LEO. They’re always appreciated, especially when they have to work on holidays! I’ve even grown quite the reputation for providing goodies, and have to send cookies in in a regular basis 😂

Law Enforcement Devotional. If you’ve been here for any length of time then you know that I love everything Adam Davis writes-and this devotional for officers is amazing. It’s somehow on sale for only $9-it would be a wonderful gift!

Rechargeable Hand Warmers. If you live somewhere that gets cold, anything that keeps you warm on long shifts is appreciated!

Portable Charger. I’ve ordered a ton of these for our family and as gifts-because who hasn’t panicked before when their phone hits 7% and you’re not home? I love this charger because all of the cords are included (lightning, USBC, micro) and it plugs directly into the wall to recharge. This is the perfect thing to keep in their patrol car/duty bag for long shifts.
