encourage one another + build each other up

1 Thessalonians 5:22 says “Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.”

Proverbs 27:17 says “Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.”

Lately I’ve been blown away by the people God has put in my life through this little blog I started months ago with little to no plans for, other than to post the occasional encouragement and share a favorite verse or two.

The women I’ve connected with have been encouraging, uplifting, motivating, and inspiring! Y’all have led me to a healthier lifestyle and reinstated exercise into my daily routine. You’ve encouraged my dreams and pointed out potential. You’ve spoken so many words of truth into my heart. You’ve made me feel loved and heard when I needed it the most.

In a world that seems so intent on competition and getting ahead and on stepping on others to get what they want, this community has shown me the complete opposite. You’ve shown me that there are tons of blue families out there building each other up and loving on each other and lending hands whenever they’re needed.

Lord, thank you! I am so humbled and blown away by the strong women of faith You’ve placed around me in seemingly small ways. You’re allowing me to be sharpened in ways that are immeasurable and supported so strongly. I praise You for the communities You have created and come to You grateful and in awe.
