a+g monthly newsletter: march 2024

Happy March, thin line fam! You might notice that this month’s newsletter is a little later than usual…and a little (a lot) shorter. To be honest, I wasn’t going to send out a newsletter this month-with everything going on in the world and our law enforcement community, I just didn’t know if I had it in me. It didn’t seem right to link products and share books and repost silly reels.

I still don’t think I have the words to talk about the war on cops we’re witnessing, to encourage yall, or where to go next…

But I do know that I am SO grateful for our thin line family and this little corner of the internet! Sometimes just knowing that we’re not alone makes all of the difference-and if I’ve heard anything over and over in my DMs and comments lately, it’s that we take comfort in knowing that!

I’m going to include the prayer I shared on my Instagram the other day below, as well as link a couple of my latest posts.

Next month I’m planning to be back to my “regular” newsletter format, but for this month, I just wanted to be real with yall.

I am tired. I am broken hearted. I am angered. Just as I know so many of you are, too. This feels like a horrible flashback to 2020 when we went through similar attacks, defunding, and cancelling.

Oof. This season is a doozy.

And yet…take heart, friends. Stay faithful. Look for the good. Search for the joy.

I don’t know what the future holds, but I do know that God is good, He is for us, and this first responder family is the strongest group of people I know and can do anything.

If you’re not already subscribed and want these posts and newsletters to come directly to your inbox, you can do so here. Usually newsletters drop the third week of each month and include a shortcut supper recipe, top linked products, top lists, a devotional, blue small shop promo code, blue book recommendation, and more!
