A fellow LEOW messaged me the other day asking if I had any suggestions for k9 gifts. We’re not a k9 family, so I put up a question box asking for y’all to weigh in! So many good ideas came in that I wanted to consolidate them all to a post. If you’re a k9 family, make sure to add your favorite gift ideas to the comments!
Tactipup collar. We have one of these custom collars for our GSD and love it! The quality is insane. We’ve had ours for 4+ years and when we wash it (usually just scrub it with dog shampoo when giving the pup a bath) it looks brand new again.
Onetigris. A k9 wife suggested this brand. They have all types of harnesses, packs, and leashes, as well as beds, patches, and dog bowls.
Poop bags. I mean…it makes sense! Something that’s totally necessary and sucks to have to buy.
Tactical Gloves. Several k9 wives suggested tactical/mechanical gloves for leash handling! If you live in an area that gets chilly, many LEOWs suggested getting a heated pair.
K9 ornament. This cute GSD ornament from Thin Blue Line USA is the perfect addition to any police Christmas tree!
Custom ornament of the k9 and/or team. There are several cute options on Etsy or Google like this one. This would be a special gift for a handler that doesn’t “need” anything!
Custom portrait. Again, a great gift idea for a handler you’re not sure what to get, or if they’re retiring their pup!
Custom Magnet. Fellow LEOW Angel makes the cutest wooden goodies, and this custom doggo magnet is no exception! You can also get it as an ornament. We can use code IGOTYOUR6 to save!
K9 painting. Fellow LEOW Barb is an incredible artist and this k9 print is especially perfect!
BenShot k9 glass. I featured BenShot in my LEO gift guide here and love their products! They’re American made and crafted by a family owned small shop.
Dog hair remover. This seems pretty self explanatory-the only downfall of doggos in my opinion is the fur! We have this and this and they work very well in getting our GSD’s hair off furniture and in the car!
Gift card to a self serve dog wash. This is a great idea! Most towns have these inside a pet shop or even a larger store like Wilco.
K9 morale patch or sticker. This one is the perfect little custom piece!
Dog treats.
K9 challenge coin. This has the “working dog’s oath” on the back.
K9 wrapping paper. This isn’t *technically* a gift but cmon have you ever seen cuter wrapping paper?!
